The Fall meeting was held at the Texas
Fire Marshals Conference. A quorum was present and a successful
meeting was conducted. President Rick Jones conducted the
meeting. President Rick Jones stepped down as President, and
Bill Dunfield became the new TFMA President. Bill Yearout
remained at 1st Vice President, Jody Gonzalez was elected
as 2nd Vice President and 2005 Directors were also elected.
A newly formed Committee of County Fire Marshals were recognized
and approved by the general membership of the Association.
G. Mike Davis gave his State Fire Marshal report. He concentrated
on Legislative Action and getting prepared for the 2003 Legislative
Session.
