| Many
of you may be aware that recently, Paris Texas suffered a great
loss to historical structures in their downtown. This has propelled
me to raise the awareness of fire danger to our downtown merchants,
as Georgetown also has a historic, nine block downtown area.
Part of my process will be to strongly encourage the building
owners who have not yet installed a fire sprinkler system to
do so. I have partnered with our Main Street Manager in this
endeavor.
What I am asking from you, the fire prevention
professionals of Texas, is to forward to me any programs and/or
information which you have used and have found to be educational,
helpful and encouraging to the building owners and occupants.
